Your every purchase supports Zdravotní Klaun Charity

For many years, Praha Thrift Store has been supporting the charity Zdravotní Klaun (The Health Clown) the Czech Republic's national branch of the international charity RED NOSES International (RNI) that has been helping patients through the treatment process with a smile since 2001. In the Czech Republic there are 86 professional clowns who regularly visit 62 hospitals, 8 retirement homes and 2 hospices.

The mission of Zdravotní Klaun is to create a relaxed environment not only in health care facilities, but to bring joy and good spirits to places where these are in short supply. We want to relieve stress not only of patients but also of their parents and relatives. Praha Thrift Store donates 10% of every purchase to this noble cause.

Zdravotní Klaun is a partner of the European Federation of Hospital Clowning Organizations (EFHCO).
